FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What types of number plates do you offer?
We offer a wide range of styles including 2D printed plates, 3D gel plates, 4D 3mm, 4D 5mm, and 4D Gel Hybrid plates. All plates are made using high-quality materials for a premium finish and durability.
Are your number plates road legal?
Yes — we offer fully road-legal plates provided the correct documentation is submitted. You’ll need to provide:
- A copy of your driving licence (or another valid photo ID)
- A proof of entitlement (e.g. V5C logbook or retention certificate)
Show plates (display-only) can be ordered as well but are not road-legal.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched on the next working day and sent via a tracked Royal Mail service. Once shipped, you’ll receive tracking information by email.
Can I return or exchange my plates?
Returns are accepted if the product is faulty, damaged during our production process, or doesn’t match the details you provided.
We do not accept returns for:
- Incorrect personalisation submitted by the customer
- Plates damaged due to drilling or improper installation
What is your warranty policy?
We offer a 3-month workmanship warranty. This covers production faults but not damage caused by drilling or mishandling. We recommend using sticky pads instead of screws to maintain your warranty.
Can I drill holes in the plates?
You can, but please note: Drilling voids your warranty. We strongly recommend using sticky pads for a cleaner and safer installation.
Can I preview my number plate design?
At the moment, we do not offer a live preview tool, but we are happy to help you choose fonts, spacing, and styles via message before you place your order.
Do you include sticky pads?
Sticky pads can be added at checkout. Each plate typically requires 4–6 pads for secure mounting.
Do you offer trade or bulk discounts?
Yes — if you're a motor trader, garage, or reseller, get in touch for bulk pricing options.
How do I install the number plates?
We recommend using sticky pads for a clean, secure, and drill-free installation. This method preserves the integrity of your number plates and keeps your warranty intact.
Installation Steps (Using Sticky Pads):
1. Clean the surface of your vehicle thoroughly — remove all dirt, grease, or old adhesive.
2. Dry the area completely with a clean cloth.
3. Peel and apply sticky pads to the back of the number plate — we recommend using 4–6 pads, evenly spaced.
4. Press the plate firmly onto the vehicle, applying even pressure for 30–60 seconds.
5. Avoid washing the car or exposing it to rain for a few hours after installation to ensure the adhesive bonds properly.
Avoid Drilling
We do not recommend drilling the plates, as it:
- Can cause cracks or damage
- Voids your 3-month warranty
- Reduces the overall aesthetic of your plate
Sticky pads provide a secure hold without any damage — they’re quick, clean, and reliable.
